A giant that colors the landscapes

It's a fact: the liculizeiro tree usually catches people's attention. After all, we are talking about a species of palm tree that can exceed 10 meters in height, standing out in the landscapes of the caatinga, biome in which it is present in greatest abundance. The fruit of this palm tree is known as licuri, coconut licuri or coquinho do Nordeste. This is a fruit of great value due to its versatility of uses, which range from food to the manufacture of handicrafts.

Social responsibility, care and environmental preservation

We currently work in partnership with around 800 families, with an estimated conservation area of 65,000 acres. Traditionally, licuri has been collected by different family arrangements. In recent years, these families have started to benefit from initiatives such as the Bio Abundance Program, especially due to the technical support we provide to partnership relationships with each of the families and productive arrangements, like cooperatives, for example.
